Original Seiko replacement link for the metal bracelet of the Seiko Spirit (スピリット) SCXA010, from new old stock (NOS), with the original Seiko tag for reference.

The SCXA010 belongs to the Seiko Spirit line of Japanese domestic models and was released on February 8, 2007; it has since been discontinued. The manufacturer's suggested retail price was ¥15,750, and the watch was last sold for ¥10,800. The tag indicates it is 日常生活用防水 – water resistant for daily use, which is the Japanese designation for splash resistance without suitability for swimming or diving.

The link features a two-tone design: brushed stainless steel outer links with polished gold-colored center segments, matching the design of the original bracelet.

For metal bracelets, replacement links are the critical wear and loss part. Anyone wanting to extend a shortened bracelet – for resale, after a change in weight, or when the watch changes owner – regularly faces the problem that the links removed at the time can no longer be found. Two-tone links are particularly difficult to replace because, in addition to the dimensions, the color tone and surface treatment of the gold-colored segments must match; non-original links are immediately noticeable visually. Since the SCXA010 has not been produced for years, original links are only available from remaining stock.

The link is unused. Due to storage, minor, purely cosmetic marks are possible at most, which do not impair functionality.

Note on assignment: The reference comes from the original Seiko tag. Since Seiko used bracelets of the same design across multiple references, the link may also fit identical bracelets of other Spirit models. Please compare the band width, link length, and connection type with your own bracelet before purchase – ideally using a photo of the inside of the bracelet.
