Seiko Vintage Stopwatch - mechanical, Tokyo Japan - post-war (very rare)

This rare mechanical stopwatch from Seiko dates from the early phase of Japanese precision timekeeping and exemplifies Seiko's transition from watchmaker to industrial time measurement specialist. Such stopwatches were not produced for the consumer market, but as work and measuring instruments for industry, science, sports, and education.

The stopwatch offered here is in good, fully functional condition. The movement starts cleanly, stops precisely, and can be reset correctly. The back shows significant, age-related scratches, which underline its authentic character as a truly used instrument.
