Vintage NOS Lizard Leather Strap in Honey Brown, 10 mm – also suitable for fixed lugs (clip-on clasp), with Box (Japan)

An elegant lizard leather strap in unworn, new old stock (NOS) condition, complete in its original box – ideal for complementing a delicate Japanese vintage watch in style and true to the period.

The strap is made of genuine lizard leather with the characteristic, finely grained scale structure in a warm honey to light brown with a subtle color gradient – a noble, lively look that makes genuine reptile leather unmistakable. It features two matching loops and is finished with a gold-colored pin buckle.

A special feature of this strap: it can not only be mounted in the classic way with spring bars, but thanks to a metal clip at the strap ends, it can also be attached to fixed lugs. To do this, the clip is opened, placed around the fixed lug, and then pressed back together (crimped). This makes the strap suitable for vintage watches with permanently soldered or non-removable lugs, where an ordinary strap cannot be mounted – a practical advantage with many older models.

With a lug width of 10 mm, the strap is intended for delicate vintage ladies' watches or small dress watches. The warm honey brown harmonizes particularly well with gold-colored cases.

Stylistically, the strap can be attributed to Japanese reptile leather straps from approximately the 1970s to 1990s.
