WANCHER Dream Moonphase Kaguya - Khaki

"Kaki" (柿, kaki) is the Japanese word for persimmon (Diospyros kaki) – a vibrant orange autumn fruit symbolizing happiness, longevity, and family unity. Thus, the name is both traditional and colorfully apt.

The persimmon season refers to the period when ripe persimmons - also called kaki - are harvested and sold. It typically falls between September and January, depending on the region. During this time, the fruits are fresh and particularly sweet.

The mother-of-pearl dial has been refined with a special Pantone coloring, displaying a deep, calm, luminous pink-orange hue that shimmers vibrantly – sometimes iridescent, sometimes velvety, depending on the light. The natural luster of the material is preserved, lending the watch fascinating depth.

The decorative 31-day moon disc at 10 o'clock complements the composition with a touch of poetry – without an astronomical function, but full of symbolism.
