Suigetsu (水月) – meaning “moonlight on the water” or “moonglade” in Japanese – describes that fleeting beauty when the light of the moon is reflected on the gentle waves. The Kaguya Suigetsu captures precisely this impression.
Its shimmering mother-of-pearl dial combines expressive azure and amethyst tones. The natural iridescence of the mother-of-pearl creates dynamic color gradients that change with the incidence of light – like a moving night sky over the ocean. Among the Kaguya models, Suigetsu is the most expressive variant – intense, high-contrast, and poetic.
In the Tsukimi version, the moon disc at 10 o'clock appears in warm gold – a tribute to the Japanese Tsukimi festival (月見), the traditional autumn moon viewing, where the beauty of the full moon is celebrated. The golden moon forms a luminous contrast to the dark mother-of-pearl – like a harvest moon over nocturnal water.
