Rising Sun Maki-e – Art in Gold & Tradition

The Dream Pen Rising Sun Collection combines traditional Yamanaka-nuri lacquer technique with Kinpaku (real gold leaf) and modern Kindai Maki-e art.
The result is a collection that interprets Japanese symbolism and classical painting in a contemporary form.

The series includes two iconic motifs deeply rooted in Japanese art history:
