The Dream Watch – Byakudan-nuri Kohaku celebrates one of the most elegant and rarest variations of Japanese Urushi lacquerware. Known for its vibrant orange-red tones and shimmering depths, the Byakudan-nuri technique is enhanced in this Kohaku version through a special process: the lacquer is sensitive to humidity – under drier conditions, a matte, deep effect emerges, lending the dial a special warmth and visual depth.

Crafted in Echizen, one of Japan's oldest lacquer regions, each dial blank is built up layer by layer over many months – a time-consuming process demanding the utmost precision, patience, and years of experience. Only highly skilled master craftsmen are permitted to work on this timepiece. The combination of the elegant, bronze-colored case, brown leather strap, and this meticulously finished surface gives the watch a timeless, almost meditative appearance.

Inside, the tried and tested Miyota 9015 automatic movement operates at 28,800 semi-oscillations, with date and around 42 hours of power reserve – flat, reliable, durable.
